I am here needing prayer for my very elderly grandmother, and she is in in failing health and she can not walk anymore too. i need a miracle, for her to feel better to feel she can walk better. please pray that she does not need to move out of her home and that she can stay independent. we are all worried about her and want her to get better, soon.

This is going to be a long prayer but I want people to understand the complicated nature of things. We need as much prayer as possible. I am a single mother to two sons with autism and unrelated rare genetic syndromes (as the doctor said, lightening struck us twice). I divorced their father after he had an affair (we tried to work it out and just couldn’t), started going to a support group at my church, and was moving on with my life. There I met a man who went through a similar situation with his ex wife (she had an affair). He turned to alcohol to deal with the pain, became an alcoholic, became sober, and ended up in the same support group as me. We became friends and then fell in love (hard, unconditional, soulmate love). And best of all, he LOVED my boys! But we did things our own way, not God’s, and of course things fell apart. He ended up going back to drinking, and I ended up depressed and hopeless with my sons confused and heartbroken. In the 5 years that followed, I went to therapy, resolved to live a godly life and be a good mother, and prayed so much for Mark to become sober and come back to me. A year ago, he texted me. He was sober, he had gone to treatment and therapy, and was ready to do things God’s way. And we have! We have stayed celibate, he has stayed sober, and I have kept going to therapy. We are now engaged and more in love than ever. But now Mark has a lesion in his brain. And it’s getting worse. Vision and balance problems, etc. We don’t know if it’s cancer. And my youngest son needs spine surgery that could potentially paralyze or kill him. My oldest son has the most severe anxiety disorder I’ve ever seen in a person and has tried to commit suicide. And both my boys have severe behavioral issues now that were directly caused by the pandemic. I’m here in the middle of it all trying to keep it together. Some days I feel like giving up. I’ve already lost the love of my life once. I can’t lose him again. I can’t lose my boys. I can’t lose myself. Please please pray for us. Pray that we are able to get married soon and be the family we want to be. Pray that we all end up ok. And pray that I don’t lose my faith. Thank you. God bless.
